My 101 Favourite Movies – Part 2

Here is Part 2 of My 101 Favourite Movies List – 21 – 40

As I mentioned before they are no particular order…. enjoy!

Part 2

Independence Day (1996)  – Well I had to add it didn’t I…. Plus I love Will Smith in this. Shame the second one was a bit of let down.

The Jungle Book (2016)

The Princess Bride (1987)

National Treasure (2004)

The Avengers (2012)

Star Wars – The Force awakens (2015)

La La Land (2016)It was wildly over-rated but I loved the soundtrack.

E.T – The Extra-Terrestrial (1982)

Breakfast At Tiffany’s (1961)

A Portrait of Jennie (1948)

Robin Hood – Prince of Thieves (1991) This is the movie that opened my eyes to the whole world of movies. Before I used to watch movies but after this I appreciated the costumes, settings, the art of the performance etc… I credit it with changing my perspective when I was about 12 years old.

Les Miserables (2012)

Pirates of the Caribbean – Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)

Unbreakable (2000) I enjoy M.Night Shyamalan movies because his concepts are really interesting he just has trouble executing them. I think a lot would or do work better as novels however this is one that worked well.

Frequency (2000)

Star Trek into Darkness (2013) Chris Pine and Benedict Cumberbatch in the same movie… that is all I am saying.

Phantom of the Opera (2005)

The Holiday (2006)It’s just a great feel good movie.

The Lion King (1994)I remember sitting at the cinema and the opening scene just gave me chills, it was so fantastic.

Much Ado About Nothing (1993)  – My favourite Shakespeare comedy.

So this is the end of Part 2… I hope you don’t think there are too many turkeys in there? Part 3 coming soon.
